As a PHP Senior API Developer you will work within a cloud SaaS agile development team to build new and improve existing functionality on a platform that enhances the lives wellbeing and health of people all over the world. You will spend most of your time developing REST APIs and improving existing API performance focusing on creating highly efficient APIs. Additionally you will write unit tests and collaborate with Junior Developers to ensure full code coverage for the code you have written peer review the code and unit tests of your peers and contribute to design and technical discussions.

• Work within a cloud SaaS agile development team to build new and improve existing functionality on a platform that enhances the lives wellbeing and health of people worldwide.
  
• Spend most of your time developing REST APIs and improving existing API performance with a major focus on creating highly efficient APIs.
  
• Write unit tests and collaborate with Junior Developers to ensure full code coverage for the code you have written.
  
• Peer review the code and unit tests of your peers and contribute to design and technical discussions.
  
• Collaborate with a team that includes infrastructure experts performance experts Senior PHP Developers Senior and Junior clientside developers QA and Documentation support Designers and Product Managers.
  
• Contribute to the expansion of our team to continue delivering a marketleading platform for our growing customer base.
  
• Work across leadingedge and even bleedingedge platforms including voice vision IoT web tablet mobile smart TV and a wide range of health devices.
  
• Have the opportunity to grow and learn across a range of platforms.
  

Requirements

Your Expertise Matters

• Must have at least 7 years of solid experience in PHP 5/7
  
• Strong experience in CakePHP or other frameworks such as Zend FuelPHP Kohana or Laravel
  
• Proficient in MySQL
  
• Must have 4 years of REST API development
