Overview:
Our client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Territory Sales Manager with a strong background in Global Supply Chain Management to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing sales territories building and maintaining a strong pipeline and engaging effectively with potential customers. Responsibilities:
Territory Management:
- Develop and manage an assigned territory demonstrating extensive knowledge of potential customers and competitors.
- Assess industry trends within the territory and communicate findings to the District Sales Manager.
Pipeline Development:
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential companies within the territory.
- Research and qualify sales leads to ensure a steady flow of opportunities.
Client Engagement:
- Regularly visit target companies to establish and nurture relationships.
- Maintain an acceptable number of total visits to ensure ongoing engagement with potential clients.
- Prepare and document written precall planning for each visit.
Sales Administration:
- Complete sales record keeping in the company s CRM system according to published time and completion standards.
Qualifications:
- A University Degree or a recognized professional qualification equivalent to a university degree is required.
- Proven experience in managing sales territories and engaging with clients.
- Strong background in Global Supply Chain Management.
- Strong knowledge of industry trends and competitor activities within the territory.
- Excellent research qualification and lead generation skills.
- Proficient in CRM systems and sales record keeping.
