Job Description

Overview:

Our client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Territory Sales Manager with a strong background in Global Supply Chain Management to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing sales territories building and maintaining a strong pipeline and engaging effectively with potential customers. Responsibilities:

Territory Management:
  • Develop and manage an assigned territory demonstrating extensive knowledge of potential customers and competitors.
  • Assess industry trends within the territory and communicate findings to the District Sales Manager.
Pipeline Development:
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential companies within the territory.
  • Research and qualify sales leads to ensure a steady flow of opportunities.
Client Engagement:
  • Regularly visit target companies to establish and nurture relationships.
  • Maintain an acceptable number of total visits to ensure ongoing engagement with potential clients.
  • Prepare and document written precall planning for each visit.
Sales Administration:
  • Complete sales record keeping in the company s CRM system according to published time and completion standards.

Qualifications:

  • A University Degree or a recognized professional qualification equivalent to a university degree is required.
  • Proven experience in managing sales territories and engaging with clients.
  • Strong background in Global Supply Chain Management.
  • Strong knowledge of industry trends and competitor activities within the territory.
  • Excellent research qualification and lead generation skills.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and sales record keeping.
