Job Description
We are looking for a Tax Executive to join our clients direct Tax team.
ABOUT OUR CLIENT
Our client is a fullyfledged professional services firm working on specific business units in the areas of finance corporate tax legal and gaming and is located in Naxxar.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparation of highquality tax compliance work including preparation and submission of corporate and personal tax returns.
- Preparation of DDT10 exemptions shareholder registrations dividend warrants and tax refund registration forms.
- Analysis and application of the Consolidated Group (Income Tax) rules.
- Assisting in tax advisory assignments and in the research of tax matters.
- Liaising with tax authorities.
- Keeping abreast with direct tax developments locally and internationally.
- Assisting in other adhoc tax projects as applicable.
EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- A minimum of 1 year experience in a CSP environment (additional experience will be considered an asset).
- Excellent command of accounting standards and Maltese tax legislation.
- Working against deadlines and delivering in a timely manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Maltese languages. Knowledge of a third language is considered a plus.
- Working on your own initiative and in a team with a proactive approach.
- Building relationships with clients and having a passion for delivering exceptional service.
EDUCATION
ACCA qualified or in the final stages of obtaining qualifications.
WORKING TIME
Flexibility in starting time from 07:30 till 09:30 40 hours per week with 30 minutes break.
