Job Description

This is a remote position.

Job Description: Appointment Setter with experience with US Accounting/Tax companies.

(MUST have 5 years of experience)


Position Overview:

As an Appointment Setter your primary responsibility will be to schedule appointments between potential clients and the companys sales representatives. You will play a vital role in generating leads initiating contact with prospects and setting up appointments to promote the companys services. Your efforts will contribute to the overall success and growth of the outsourcing business.


Key Responsibilities:


Lead Generation: Identify potential clients through various sources such as cold calling prospecting databases online research and networking. Gather relevant contact information and maintain a database of leads for followup.


Appointment Scheduling: Contact potential clients via phone email or other communication channels to introduce the companys services and set up appointments with the sales representatives. Utilize effective communication techniques to engage prospects and secure their commitment to a meeting.


Qualification and Needs Assessment: Conduct initial conversations with prospects to understand their business needs challenges and objectives. Gather essential information to determine if the companys services align with their requirements and identify the appropriate sales representative to handle the appointment.


Appointment Coordination: Coordinate schedules between the prospect and the assigned sales representative taking into account availability and geographical considerations. Ensure that both parties receive necessary meeting details including date time location (if applicable) and any additional instructions.


Followup and Reminder: Send appointment confirmations and reminders to prospects and sales representatives to minimize noshows and maximize attendance. Provide necessary information or materials to prospects before the meeting to facilitate productive discussions.


CRM Management: Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) software or other tools to track and update prospect information appointment details and communication history. Ensure accuracy and completeness of data entry to facilitate efficient followup and reporting.


Reporting and Metrics: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as the number of appointments scheduled conversion rates and other relevant metrics. Generate reports on appointment activities and outcomes to evaluate performance identify trends and provide insights to the management team.


Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the sales team and other internal stakeholders to align appointment setting efforts with business objectives. Share prospect feedback insights and trends to optimize lead generation and appointment conversion rates.


Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends market dynamics and the companys service offerings. Continuously seek ways to improve the appointment setting process refine scripts enhance prospect engagement and contribute to overall sales effectiveness.



Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

  • MUST have 5 years experience with US Accounting/Tax companies.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college education is preferred.

  • Previous experience in appointment setting lead generation sales support or a related field is advantageous.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficient in using CRM systems scheduling software and other relevant tools.

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.

  • Ability to handle a high volume of calls and appointments while maintaining professionalism and a positive demeanor.

  • Familiarity with outsourcing industry terminology and services is a plus.

  • Goaloriented mindset with the ability to meet or exceed performance targets.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with prospects.
