Job Description
Job Title: Blown Film Head of the Department
Level: MidLevel Management.
We are into Manufacturing of Flexible Packaging Material. Our Operations have following equipment s.
Maintaining maintenance procedures. Responsible for handling machine breakdowns and resolving
within a prompt time.
1. Blown Film from W & H and
2. Dikey
Experience in Processing
1. PA6 Nylon Film
2. Lamination Grade Poly for Liquid (Alcohol ) Al Foil and Bulk Packaging Poly
3. Lamination Film for Snack Foods
4. Shrink Film
Reports to Flexible Packaging Unit Head. He needs to supervise the local Nigerian staff team (head count
of over 20including regular and contract staff)
Role Objective: To ensure effective Processing Blown Films as specified above application. Needs to Coordinate with
Reporting Manager PPC & Maintenance teams to ensure seamless processing and operation. The target
is to achieve Blown with Zero defect and least issues at customers.
Principal Accountability: Seamless Processing of Films for various application for Flexible Laminates and Shrink Film
Understanding of Operations of Multi Layer Blown Film
3 Layer Blown Film from Dikey
5 Layer Blown Film from W & H
Handling of Operations
o Windmoller & Holscher Multi layer
o Reifenhauser Multi Layer
o Macchi Multi layer
Requirements
Qualification: Degree / Diploma Plastic Technology.Preferably CIPET.
Experience: 1015 years experience in Blown Film Plants in Flexible Packaging Manufacturing Industry is a must.
Prefer personnel with Nigerian experience.

2. Understanding of Layer Distribution and Thickness balancing
3. Layer distribution while using Polyamide PA 6
4. Tie Layer adjustment
5. Internal Layer Bonding
6. Knowledge of using MB in Plain and Multi Layer Films with PA6
7. Gel Control through material combination
8. Mixing ratio to control unmelted particles
9. Die Punch Cleaning
10. Die Insert Adjustment
11. Basic Maintenance Knowledge
