Implementation Engineer with COBOL

Responsibilities

Analyze and understand business requirements and translate them into technical

solutions.

Develop and implement software enhancements and customizations for

PowerCard based on translated technical solutions.

Create and maintain technical documentation for developed applications.

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure smooth application integration

and deployment.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting applications.

Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices.

Requirements

Requirements

1. Must have 5 years of experience in developing applications in COBOL/CICS.

2. Experience with CardLink development.

3. Experience in designing developing and maintaining largescale enterprise

applications.

4. Excellent understanding of system development lifecycle (SDLC)

methodologies.

5. Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.

6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Technical Skills

Mandatory: Mainframe COBOL CICS JCL

C C PL/SQL is a plus to have

Requirements: Minimum 6+ Years of Relevant experience in the Payment Industry. Minimum 3 Years of Test Lead Experience. Holder of a Bachelor s Degree. Languages: Excellent command of English is a must. Excellent Knowledge in Cards Issuing (VISA/MCI/AMEX): Customer Boarding, Customer Life Cycle, Card Life Cycle, Card Fees, Collection Cycle, Interest Management, Statement, ISO8583, Trnx Types, Chargeback, Fraud, Multi Currency, DCC, Entity Structure, Rewards, Account Closure, Reports etc Cards Personalization (VISA/MCI/AMEX): CHIP Tags, Track, PIN. Excellent Knowledge of Card Products (Credit/Debit/Prepaid). Excellent Knowledge of Cards Certification with MCI/VISA/AMEX. Excellent Management, Organization, Communication and Presentation skills. Good Experience in interacting with Customers and Managing Customer Defects. Good experience in Functional, Performance, System Integration testing and User Acceptance Testing. Good knowledge of SQL, PL SQL, Database. Excellent Technical Skills in : JIRA, Confluence, SoapUI/REST API, Unix, VISA/MCI/AMEX simulator. Preference: Availability: Immediate is a plus. Good Knowledge of Powercard solution is a plus. Good Knowledge of Vision Plus solution is a plus. Good Knowledge of the development cycle and programming language is a plus. ISTQB Certification is a plus.
