Job Description

Job Title: Assistant Manager (Accounts) Indian Entity

Job Description:

We are seeking a experienced Assistant Accounts Manager with a strong background in Taxation Banking Financial reporting costing analysis statutory compliance and forex risk. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of working experience in Taxation & Banking mainly. Experience in agri commodities and audits is considered advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Taxation
    • Knowledge of GST compliances handled GST refund & GST assessments.
    • Handled Transfer Pricing & Income Tax Assessments.
    • Sound awareness of TDS & TCS.

  1. Banking and Financing Experience:
    • Utilize expertise in banking to optimize capital management.
    • Good liasoning with bankers for Trade Financing and other related arrangement.
    • Manage relationships with financial institutions.

  1. Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare detailed financial reports with annexures.
    • Provide regular financial analysis and insights to senior management.
    • Comply and support group reporting

  1. Costing Analysis:
    • Conduct budget vs. actual analysis.
    • Monitor variance and provide recommendations for cost optimization.

  1. Inventory and Debtors Control:
    • Implement and maintain effective control systems for inventory and debtors also payables.

  1. Budgeting and Fund Planning:
    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop and monitor budgets for procurement.
    • Ensure effective fund planning and control over payments.

  1. Statutory Compliance:
    • Manage and ensure compliance with local audit requirements.
    • Oversee the preparation of local audited accounts.

  1. External & Internal Audits:
    • Coordinate and facilitate external and internal audit processes.
    • Implement audit recommendations and improvements.

  1. Forex Risk
    • Monitor and analyze currency exchange rates and their impact on financials.

  1. Staff Training & Development:
    • Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team.
    • Identify training needs and develop training programs.

Qualifications:

  • CA CWA ACCA or equivalent Degree holder.
