Overview
The US Accounts Executive plays a vital role in our organization by managing and overseeing the companys financial accounts and transactions related to the US market. They are responsible for maintaining accurate financial records preparing financial reports and ensuring compliance with US accounting standards and regulations. The US Accounts Executive collaborates closely with the finance and operations teams to support the companys financial objectives and growth strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the US accounting functions and ensure accuracy and transparency in financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for the US market including balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements.
- Coordinate and assist in the annual US audit process liaising with external auditors and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
- Handle US tax filings ensuring compliance with federal and state tax regulations and deadlines.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes for the US market including invoicing collections and payments.
- Monitor and analyze US market financial performance identifying trends variances and areas for improvement.
- Participate in the development and implementation of US market budgets and forecasts.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support business initiatives and provide financial insights and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and other applicable accounting standards.
- Utilize ERP systems to maintain accurate and uptodate financial records for the US market.
- Support financial and operational decisionmaking through insightful financial analysis and recommendations.
- Stay updated on US accounting and regulatory changes providing guidance and recommendations to ensure compliance.
- Contribute to process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the US accounting and finance functions.
- Communicate effectively with USbased stakeholders providing financial information and insights as needed.
- Support adhoc financial projects and initiatives as required.
Required qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- Proven experience (2 years) in US accounting and financial reporting.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience in managing US market accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Proficiency in utilizing ERP systems for financial recordkeeping and reporting.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams and communicate financial insights.
- Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data and trends.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping and reporting.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
