- Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items according to standardized recipes
and presentation guidelines.
- Ensure that all dishes leaving the kitchen meet the restaurant's standards of quality,
taste, and presentation.
- Direct and supervise the whole team ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Promote and maintain effective communication between the FOH, BOH, and each other. - Ensure implementation of safety standards.
- Follow procedures with the use of cleaning supplies.
- Attend all kitchen meetings and initiate suggestions and improvements.
- Train, develop and lead the kitchen team.
- Escalate challenges to the management and work on finding solutions.
