Job Summary:
Primary Objective of the Role:
- Lead the team to meet business effectively and efficiently and governance requirements.
- Manage the monthly financial close process, including ensuring that all costs are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, profit and loss, report preparation, and other statements.
- Develop and document business processes to improve the overall accuracy of data flow in reports, liaise with stakeholders, and serve as a business partner to assist in decision-making.
- Participate in the review of accounting policies and procedures, as well as operational strategies, including process and system changes.
- Assist team members in advancing their careers and achieving their full potential while also providing them with the tools, opportunities, and empowerment they need to accomplish corporate goals.

- Finance functions technical skills: AR, AP, payroll, general accounting, month end close, intercompany, treasury, P&L.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Bachelor s degree in accounting/Finance
- 5+ years of relevant working experience in Australian general accounting
- Experience in handling complex account reconciliations
