Job Description
Software Developer
This position will provide software support and maintenance for current company products written in C C# Java script and Python scripts. This position will require an understanding of server management for PBX systems (Asterisk) and servers running on Linux. This position interfaces with engineering management as well as our technical support group.
You Will:
Create innovative tools to support and develop business needs.
Integrate internal and external software platforms to manage product work orders maintain current and create new products and manage customer needs.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for software built for the company by external software firms and/or former employees.
Handle multiple projects at the same time.
Continually improve current programs and develop new programs based on business development needs and customer requirements.
Your Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering MIS or other related field preferred.
7 years professional experience extensively with C Java Script C# and Python with a high level of proficiency or 5 years with a Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field.
Experience of server management for PBX systems (Asterisk) JSON MongoDB Docker XML MQTT Flask RabbitMQ Mailsite Linux server Windows CE Jira Bitbucket Server Cybersecurity Management is a huge plus.
Operate with a security and reliabilityfirst mindset.
Have the skills to create simple solutions for complex problems quickly; often benefiting from triedandtrue techniques.
Value user/customer support feedback for current and future software development learn quickly work iteratively and naturally seek collaboration.
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting capabilities including being able to apply a methodical approach to problem resolution.
Strong documentation skills and familiarization with data repositories (Atlassian Bitbucket Jira Confluence) would also be a plus.
Strong communication skills
Microsoft Office 365 software expertise. Teams collaboration.
Highly motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Able to perform tasks out of the scope of work and job description from time to time.
