Legal And Operations Associate - Plutus21 Capital

The Legal and Operations Associate will play a crucial role in supporting our legal and operational functions. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in legal roles (preferably inhouse) with strong skills in contract drafting negotiation legal research legal opinions and compliance related knowledge. They will be responsible for assisting in various legal and operational tasks ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations and supporting the companys legal initiatives. This is a Hybrid job.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contract Drafting and Review:
• Draft review and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements.
• Ensure contracts comply with legal requirements and company policies.
• Legal Research and Analysis:
• Conduct thorough legal research on various topics including contract law corporate law securities M&A and technology laws.
• Provide legal opinions and advice based on case law and statutory analysis.
• Corporate and Securities Compliance:
• Assist with corporate governance compliance and regulatory filings.
• Support and ensure compliance with corporate transactions and securities regulations.
• Operational Support:
• Assist in the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures.
• Provide support on various operational projects and initiatives.
• Risk Management and Compliance:
• Identify and mitigate legal and operational risks.
• Ensure the companys operations comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements and Skills:

• Bachelors in Law (LLB) Master in Law or Business is a bonus (LLM or MBA)
• 2 years of relevant experience in legal roles with a focus on contract law corporate law corporate finance beginner securities knowledge and interest in technology laws.
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
• Excellent legal research and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with corporate governance compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance and securities laws.
• Knowledge of technology laws and regulations is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team collaborate with external teams where necessary.
• Willingness to explore and learn challenging areas of law and legal matters.
