Responsibilities:

• Provide healthcare to students with acute or chronic health problems.
• Conduct screenings and write referrals for health services.
• Develop and monitor health plans for students.

Qualifications:

• Hold a bachelors degree from an accredited college or university.
• Possess a current New Jersey registered professional nurse (RN) license issued by the New Jersey State Board of Nursing.
• Maintain a valid Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillators (AED) certification from recognized entities (such as the American Heart Association American Red Cross or National Safety Council).
• BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) (preferred).
• School Nurse Certification from the NJ Department of Education (preferred).
• Teacher of Health Education Certification from the NJ Department of Education (preferred but not required).
• Experience working with the special needs population (preferred but not required).
