Hiring Now Middle School Co-Teacher

• Monitor student progress and use formative assessments to inform instruction.
  
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment where all students feel supported and challenged.
  
• Coplan and codeliver lessons that meet the needs of all students utilizing differentiated instruction strategies.
  
• Work closely with the school leadership and other staff to develop inclusive instructional strategies and interventions.
  
• Collaborate with special education teachers support staff and related service providers to develop and monitor student IEPs.
  
• Assist in managing classroom behavior and creating a positive learning environment through proactive behavior management strategies.
  

Requirements

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  
• Bachelor s degree in Education Special Education or a related field
  
• Valid Illinois Teaching Certification in Special Education or related area
  
• Experience in coteaching or collaborating with teachers in an inclusive classroom setting
  
• Strong understanding of differentiated instruction IEP implementation and classroom accommodations
