Senior Accountant
Chula Vista CA $80k$90k Direct FullTime Onsite Supplier
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Chula Vista CA $80k$90k Direct FullTime Onsite Supplier
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Assist in the monthend closing process by preparing journal entries general account analysis and account reconciliations
- Reconcile subledgers to the general ledger on a monthly basis
- Ensure financial transactions are recorded in compliance with GAAP
- Respond to information requests review financial statements and assist with audits
- Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions at month end ensure accuracy of financial statements and timeliness
- Prepare review and analyze monthly financial statements for variance reporting
- Assist in the preparation of monthly quarterly and yearly financial reports
- Develop and maintain documentation of current controls processes practices and workflows
- Record daily cash activity as required
- Perform all other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE
- Must have 4 years of work experience in a similar role
- Must be detail oriented and have a high degree of accuracy in financial reporting
- Must have solid knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principles
- Advanced Excel skills and 3 years of ERP experience
- 3 years of experience in reconciling all balance sheet accounts
- This position is onsite only no remote or hybrid
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting is a must
