Job Description
1. Utilize your advanced knowledge of mechanical engineering principles to conceptualize and create innovative designs for various products and systems
2. Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to understand project requirements objectives and constraints
3. Apply your expertise in computeraided design (CAD) software to develop detailed 3D models and engineering drawings
4. Perform simulations analysis and prototyping to validate design concepts and optimize performance
5. Ensure designs comply with industry standards regulations and best practices
6. Generate accurate and comprehensive engineering documentation including specifications test plans and reports
7. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members fostering their professional growth
8. Collaborate with project managers technicians and manufacturers to ensure successful implementation of designs
9. Stay up to date with emerging technologies trends and advancements in the field of mechanical design
10. Perform any other adhoc assignments and other duties assigned by HOD/PIC.
Requirements
1. Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred
2. Proven experience 2 5 years as a mechanical design engineer with a focus on developing complex mechanical systems or products
3. Indepth knowledge of engineering principles materials science and manufacturing processes
4. Proficiency in using CAD software such as SolidWorks AutoCAD or similar tools
5. Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to perform simulations and analysis
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams
7. Solid understanding of industry standards regulations and best practices
8. Demonstrated track record of delivering highquality designs within project timelines and budget constraints
9. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in engineering documentation
10. Leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor junior team members
