Job Description:
- A SolarWinds OrionSQL Sentry administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining SolarWinds monitoring tools to effectively oversee IT infrastructure Here are some key tasks typically performed by a SolarWinds administrator
- Configuration and Customization
- Configuring Monitoring Tools Setting up monitoring rules thresholds and s
- Customizing Dashboards Creating customized views to monitor specific devices applications or services
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting
- Monitoring Infrastructure Continuously monitoring network devices servers applications and services
- Troubleshooting Issues Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks outages or anomalies
- Management
- Setting s Defining thresholds for s based on performance metrics
- Responding to s Investigating and addressing s promptly
- Documentation and Reporting
- Documenting Configurations Keeping records of configurations and changes
- Generating Reports Creating reports on network health performance and availability
- This role will work in ServiceNow to handle customer requests for Monitoringing and maintain the overall Platform health.
