Preferred experience with functional programming languages (such as SCALA or Clojure)

Experience working in a serviceoriented or microservice architecture
Preferred experience with containerization Docker Kubernetes
Work well independently and as part of a team.
Experience with building RESTful APIs
Experience of writing unit testing codes in various unit testing frameworks
Experience working with JSON structures
Experience in various phases of testing designing and developing complex enterprise applications.
Solid communication skills verbal and written
Handson experience with automated testing tools
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
Building and deploying applications and release management

Job Responsibilities

Participate in the design and implementation (testing and Production releases) of sophisticated software systems using functional programming techniques.
Participate in software design and code reviews. Reviews include other Software Engineers and are held to ensure a high level of software quality and to share knowledge with team members. Participate in and adhere to professional software engineering practices using such tools and methodologies as Agile Software Development Test Driven Development Continuous Integration Source Code Management (git) Jira and GitHub.
Participate in the planning creation and execution of automated test cases and load/performance testing.
Address production issues in a timely manner. This includes root cause analysis and working with manager and team members to resolve the problem.
Create detailed comprehensive and wellstructured test plans and test cases Participate in SDLC: managing releases to all environments
Participate in OnCall Support as needed (rotation approximately 1 out of 6 weeks)
