JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a driven and strategic Business Development Manager to lead the expansion of our distribution channels in North America and Europe. The preferred candidate should possess industry experience a passion for identifying and engaging with potential partners the capability to create compelling value propositions and adept negotiation skills to successfully finalize agreements and meet distribution goals.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Prospecting and Lead Generation:

  • Identify and research potential customers partners and markets.
  • Generate leads through cold calling email campaigns networking and industry events.
  • Prepare proposals presentations and product demonstrations.

Market Analysis and Strategy:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends opportunities and competitive insights.
  • Develop strategic plans to penetrate new markets and expand market share.

Pipeline Management:

  • Manage and track sales activities and prospects in CRM systems.
  • Monitor and report on sales metrics including pipeline status and conversion rates.

Negotiation and Closing:

  • Negotiate terms and conditions of agreements with prospective clients.
  • Close sales and achieve revenue targets in alignment with company goals.

Customer Engagement and Support:

  • Provide presales and postsales support to customers as needed.
  • Address customer inquiries resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.

Reporting and Forecasting:

  • Prepare regular reports and forecasts on sales performance market trends and opportunities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to management based on sales data and analysis.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of PLCs and other industrial automation equipment including components systems and applications. Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in the industry is beneficial.
  • Sales and Business Development: Proven ability to generate leads qualify prospects and close deals. Experience in business to business sales and understanding of sales processes from prospecting to negotiation and closing.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively conveying technical information crafting compelling value propositions and building rapport with customers and stakeholders.
  • Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers partners and colleagues. This includes networking relationship management and customer service skills.
  • Technical Aptitude: Basic technical understanding of PLC automation systems and equipment to discuss product features benefits and applications with customers and prospects is required. Experience with Productivity PLCs is preferred.
  • Problem Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends identify opportunities and propose solutions that meet customer needs. Critical thinking skills to address customer challenges effectively.
  • Negotiation Skills: Proficiency in negotiating terms and agreements with customers partners and vendors to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams including sales marketing product management and operations to achieve business objectives.
  • Adaptability and Resilience: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and market conditions. Resilience to handle rejection and persist in pursuing opportunities.
  • CRM and Sales Tools: Proficiency in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software sales automation tools and other technology platforms to manage leads track activities and analyze sales performance.
  • Continuous Learning: Willingness to stay updated on industry trends technologies and competitive landscape through selflearning training programs and industry events.
