ITI Diploma - Mechanical - Stores Executive

Responsibilities:

1. Material Receipt and Inspection:
   

   • Receive incoming materials and verify against purchase orders.
     
   • Check GRN (Goods Receipt Note) accuracy and completeness.
     
   • Tag materials appropriately for identification purposes.
     
   • Acknowledge receipt to relevant stakeholders.
     
   • Ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping.
     

2. Material Handling and Storage:
   

   • Bin materials in designated storage areas.
     
   • Maintain awareness of Min/Max levels for inventory control.
     
   • Implement FIFO (First In First Out) system for perishable items.
     
   • Manage shelf life items according to established guidelines.
     

3. SAP Operations:
   

   • Update SAP system with received materials and relevant details.
     
   • Record material movements accurately (in warding and out warding).
     
   • Generate reports as required by management.
     

4. Material Issue and Dispatch:
   

   • Issue materials based on internal requisitions and requirements.
     
   • Ensure timely dispatch of materials to designated departments.
     

5. Warehouse Operations:
   

   • Assist in loading and unloading of materials as needed.
     
   • Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to 5S principles.
     

6. Compliance and Controls:
   

   • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures during material handling.
     
   • Follow inventory control measures to prevent stock discrepancies.
     
   • Support audits and inspections related to materials and inventory.
     

Requirements

Qualifications:

• ITI or Diploma in relevant technical field (Mechanical Electrical etc.).
  
• Proficiency in SAP software particularly in material management modules.
  
• Experience in handling maintenance store materials is preferred.
  
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
