System Engineer

Job Description

Skilled Virtualization and Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in Red Hat, virtualization technologies, and datacenter infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage virtualization environments.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for infrastructure deployment and management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement infrastructure solutions.
• Monitor and optimize performance of virtualization environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to virtualization and automation.
• Ensure security and compliance of virtualization and automation solutions.
  

Required Competencies

• Strong expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and related technologies.
• Proficiency in virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM, Red Hat Virtualization).
• Solid experience with infrastructure automation tools.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their integration with on-premise systems.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and technologies.
• Ability to script and automate tasks .
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in data center computing , storage and virtualization.
• Proven experience in managing and optimizing virtualization environments.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation tools.
• Experience working in a multi-cloud environment is a plus.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Red Hat, VMware, HCI) is desirable.
