Job Description
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Linux systems (RHEL, Ubuntu) administration.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory administration.
- Good knowledge of shell scripting.
- Good understanding of networking (DNS, Switching, Routing, Subnetting, Firewall, VPN).
- Experience with automation and/or configuration management tools like Ansible.
- Experience with dockers and containers.
- Experience in Web and Application servers (Tomcat, Apache, Nginx, IBM WebSphere Application Server).
- Experience in virtualization platforms especially VMware vSphere.
- Good knowledge of TLS/SSL certificates.
- Ability to learn new technologies.
- Understanding of REST API and how to use it.
- Experience with ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) solutions is preferred.
- Experience with Apache Kafka and Event Streaming is preferred.
- Experience with any programming language.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, Computer Engineering / Computer Science/ Computer Information Systems (CIS).
- 2+ years of experience running and maintaining a 24x7 production environment.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent command of English language and communication skills.
- RHCSA or Linux+ certificates are preferred.
