Job Description

Overview:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations at our Dallas TX facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management excellent problemsolving skills and a commitment to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise Maintenance Team: Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians ensuring efficient allocation of tasks and resources.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Equipment Repairs: Oversee the troubleshooting and repair of machinery including production equipment HVAC systems electrical systems and plumbing.
  • Scheduling: Plan and schedule maintenance activities to minimize disruptions to production schedules.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of tools parts and supplies necessary for maintenance operations.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies. Promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team.
  • Vendor Coordination: Work with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services.
  • Budget Management: Manage maintenance budget including cost control expenditure tracking and resource allocation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and reliability of equipment.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities repairs and inspections.
  • Training: Provide training and development opportunities for maintenance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance supervision preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in maintenance or engineering preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in electrical mechanical and hydraulic systems. Familiarity with PLCs HVAC systems and other industrial equipment.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • ProblemSolving: Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in using maintenance management software and basic computer applications (e.g. Microsoft Office).
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects work in confined spaces and perform tasks that require physical exertion.
