Overview: Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations at our Dallas TX facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management excellent problemsolving skills and a commitment to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities: - Supervise Maintenance Team: Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians ensuring efficient allocation of tasks and resources.
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
- Equipment Repairs: Oversee the troubleshooting and repair of machinery including production equipment HVAC systems electrical systems and plumbing.
- Scheduling: Plan and schedule maintenance activities to minimize disruptions to production schedules.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of tools parts and supplies necessary for maintenance operations.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies. Promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team.
- Vendor Coordination: Work with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services.
- Budget Management: Manage maintenance budget including cost control expenditure tracking and resource allocation.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and reliability of equipment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities repairs and inspections.
- Training: Provide training and development opportunities for maintenance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Qualifications: - Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance supervision preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in maintenance or engineering preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in electrical mechanical and hydraulic systems. Familiarity with PLCs HVAC systems and other industrial equipment.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- ProblemSolving: Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in using maintenance management software and basic computer applications (e.g. Microsoft Office).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects work in confined spaces and perform tasks that require physical exertion.
