Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a clear career plan for staff along with the gap analysis report. (clear opportunities & development areas to work on them).
  • Looking for development for Ops mechanics in terms of CARC & EASA licenses.
  • Provide periodic reports for any ( CARC/EASA ) licenses update in terms of (obtaining, current status, expected issuance).
  • Maintain a pipeline for ( CARC/EASA ) holders or potentials.
  • Being involved manpower plan & training meetings for a better understanding of the business needs.
  • Support students in employment, career decision-making and strategy, further training and education.
  • Initiate Joramco annual training plan that concerns the development and improvement of the staff.
  • Having good interpersonal and communications skills to be able to advise staff coming from different departments.
  • Build trust with staff in one-on-one settings if needed, to make sure that advice is customized and messages received easily.
  • Establish a setting that promotes confidence and career optimism.
  • Support staff development through, workshops, events, and resources tailored to the business's requirements.
  • Arrange for career-related presentations or events
  • Ensure that, in line with quality assurance, effective record keeping is maintained.
  • Prepare reports and evaluations on the effectiveness of career and learning programs.
  • Identify and recommend relevant professional development opportunities, such as workshops, seminars, and online courses.
  • Facilitate career development workshops on topics like networking, job market trends, and personal branding

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Career Counseling, Education, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in HR with a minimum of 5 years at the Managerial level

Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with various counseling methods like motivational interviewing and solution-focused therapy.
  • Insight into current job market trends and skills demand.
  • Experience in organizational development design and implementation
  • Knowledge of leadership and management principles.
  • Expertise in resume writing, job search techniques, and interview preparation.
  • Understanding of key career development theories and their applications.
  • Knowledge of educational systems, degree programs, and vocational training options.
  • Proficiency in the use of computers.
  • Knowledge in skill assessment
