In this role, you will apply scientific knowledge and insights relevant to therapeutic areas, healthcare systems, products, disease state management, emerging therapies, and the competitive landscape. You will collaborate with key internal Global Medical Affairs Leaders to plan and execute scientific content strategy, develop understanding of our internal data and competitor data, and support HCPs and patients through delivery of high-quality, timely, customer-focused medical information.
Essential Skills/Experience:
Advanced scientific degree (PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent)
Minimum of 5 years of relevant drug/medical/clinical information experience in pharmaceutical industry or comparable experience within the healthcare/clinical/hospital or medical communications environment
Experience in working directly with HQ and Country based Medical Affairs teams
Clinical and healthcare systems expertise
Scientific literature evaluation and analysis
Scientific/medical writing, communication, and content creation (e.g., slide decks)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strategic thinker with strong business acumen, project management, and organizational skills
Aptitude in utilizing technology/platforms
Ability to travel to meetings/conferences (domestic and international) approximately 5% of the time
Experience developing digital content and/or digital content strategy
Drug information or clinical residency/fellowship
Promotional review or medical review experience
Managed Market/Health Economics Outcome Research experience
Ability to apply local regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements to Medical Affairs activities and drug information delivery.
