Senior Financial Consolidation Advisor
Our client a prominent player in the mining and metals industry is seeking a professional for a key role. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a global organization s finance team providing consolidation services to a diverse array of stakeholders worldwide. You will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with internal and external accounting and reporting requirements and regulations in accordance with IFRS and company policies.

Hourly salary of $78.93 to $87.70 based on experience.
6month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week with overtime expected for monthend and yearend activities.
Hybrid work: 12 days per week in the office.

Responsibilities:
Participate in the monthly consolidation of the company s product groups.
Train and guide the team to deliver qualitative and timely results.
Prepare and conduct training programs for internal teams.
Analyze consolidated financial statements to ensure compliance with stakeholder requirements.
Prepare financial reports for senior management.
Provide HFM guidance and other accounting advice to the controllership and finance service team to improve performance.
Ensure periodic Risk and Control Matrix (RACM) compliance; support and liaise with internal/external auditors during SOX and substantive audits to ensure a fully compliant environment.
Continuously improve processes with an innovative mindset by leveraging data analytics and digital solutions.
Collaborate with various teams across the global organization.
What you will need to succeed:
Bachelor s degree in accounting or finance accounting certification CPA or equivalent.
8 years of experience in consolidation in a large multinational multicurrency organization.
Strong understanding of IFRS.
Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) is an asset.
Experience in preparing consolidated statements of cash flows is an asset.
Understanding of accounting for financial assets and liabilities is an asset.
Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines.
Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written).
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Analytical and problemsolving skills including variance analysis capabilities.
Beneficial to have experience with SAP.
Ability to work with various teams spread throughout many countries and time zones.
