We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our dynamic team where youll play a vital role in managing financial transactions and ensuring accurate account reconciliations. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct monthly account reconciliations and compile Revenue and WorkinProcess worksheets.
- Prepare and file GST PST and WCB returns.
- Perform project closeouts and provide performance analysis along with management reporting.
- Administer project materials costing and handle documentation for international shipments.
- Execute banking duties and miscellaneous journal postings as needed.
- Assist during audits and support other accounting staff as required.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency.

A solid understanding of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and payroll procedures. Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and ASPE. At least 2 years of full-cycle accounting experience. Knowledge of manufacturing accounting is an asset. Proficiency in large-scale ERP systems like Syteline (CSI) is a plus. Strong computer skills, attention to detail, and excellent oral and written communication abilities. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in all dealings.
Education
A diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
