Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the engineering team fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Oversee project engineering instrumentation and inspection processes.
- Make recommendations and contribute to important decisionmaking on technical and complex aspects of projects.
- Provide support and supervision to the engineering group ensuring the quality and accuracy of documentation packages.
- Review and approve fabrication drawings and perform equipment and instrument sizing checks.
- Manage client liaison and project management tasks including cost control.
- Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards including ASME section VIII Div 1 and Div 2 and ASME B31.3.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals for equipment bids.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Extensive experience in project engineering with a strong background in fabrication.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team.
- Strong decisionmaking abilities and experience with highly technical and complex projects.
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards including ASME sections and B31.3.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in project management within the fabrication or process equipment industry. Strong knowledge of ASME/ANSI standards and project management methodologies. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. PMP certification is an asset. Location: Rocky View County, Alberta (near SE Calgary) Reliable transportation required (no public transit service) Schedule: Full-time, 8-hour shifts In-person work
