Our client is looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Technical Support Specialist with expertise in Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Active Directory (AD) to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support managing IT infrastructure and ensuring optimal performance and security of SCCM and AD environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for issues related to Microsoft SCCM and Active Directory.
- Administer and manage SCCM for software distribution patch management operating system deployment and inventory management.
- Manage and maintain Active Directory including user and group management Group Policy configuration and domain services.
- Monitor system performance perform regular maintenance and ensure the security of SCCM and Active Directory environments.
- Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects including system upgrades migrations and integrations.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for SCCM and AD configurations processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with IT team members to implement and maintain IT policies standards and best practices.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with organizational policies and security standards.
- Provide training and guidance to endusers and IT staff on SCCM and Active Directory usage and best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies trends and best practices in SCCM Active Directory and related areas.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Technical Support Specialist with a focus on SCCM and Active Directory.
- Proficiency in managing and supporting Microsoft SCCM and Active Directory environments.
- Strong understanding of SCCM architecture components and deployment strategies.
- Indepth knowledge of Active Directory Group Policy DNS DHCP and related technologies.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and administration tasks.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of IT security principles and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft certifications (e.g. MCSA MCSE) in relevant areas.
- Experience with other Microsoft System Center products (e.g. SCOM SCVMM).
- Familiarity with cloudbased directory services (e.g. Azure AD).
- Experience with ITIL processes and frameworks.
