Description:
Network and Systems Support Specialist. Working oneonone with IT Infrastructure lead
Responsibilities:
- Support LAN infrastructure across local campus
- Support sitespecific applications
- Monitor and direct trouble support processes
- Vulnerability reporting and remediation
- Assisting with Operational Technology Support
- Participate in enhancement projects across campus
- Oncall support
Techinical Skills Required:
- IT troubleshooting knowledge of network infrastructure Familiarity with TCP/IP DNS DHCP and VLANs
- Knowledge of Microsoft PCs & Servers
- Knowledge of support like Service Now CyberArk Remote Desktop SQL Database experience
- Experience with various operating systems (Windows Server Linux etc.) for server and application support.
- Knowledge of virtualization platforms such as VMware or HyperV.
- Basic scripting skills (PowerShell Bash) for automating routine tasks
- Experience with SQL queries and database management systems (e.g. SQL Server MySQL).
Soft Skills Required:
- Strong interpersonal skills strong written and verbal communication skills punctual and dependable
Education & Experience Required:
Bachelors degree in information technology or computer sciences or equivalent experience
