Job Description
Do you like to plots and schemes
Not the Agatha Christie or even West Minster type though I m talking residential building plots and land schemes. We are looking for an experienced conveyancing paralegal with one year plot sales experience for a busy residential conveyancing department.
Get away from that old traditional firm and work in a lively and friendly office.
You will escape the central Manchester commute with a relaxed drive or train journey to the office in leafy Altrincham.
Get that celebrity feel the firm caters to some of the wealthiest individuals and businesses in the country and as such the calibre of commercial work is very high.
Perhaps most importantly you will be working in a collegiate team that offers excellent development in a supportive environment.
What you ll be doing
- Liaising with Estate agents/developers/buyers lawyers
- Requesting redemption figures/liaising with lenders to release plots from security
- Assisting in the preparation of the sale contract pack
- Reporting to clients with contracts to sign
- Dealing with buyers lawyer enquiries
Requirements
Qualifications and skills
Paralegal with plot sales experience (ideally one year)
Proficient in Excel for weekly reports to developer
Great attention to detail
Polished telephone manner
Highly organised
