Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Secretary with at least 3 year experience in Conveyancing to join our well established Group. The Group comprises of a law firm estate agency and mortgage broker in each branch to ensure the clients transaction goes as smoothly as possible.

We are offering a salary of 25000 to 30000 depending on experience with the option to qualify as a Licensed COnveryancer should you wish too.

We have written our in house software that uses cutting edge technology which removes the vast amount of admin work from the role leaving you to focus on the true legal work.

As a Conveyancing Assistant you will provide essential administrative support to your case handler assisting with legal documentation and property transaction processes.

Working in a vibrant friendly but busy team no day is the same but you will:

  • Preparing and drafting legal documents including contracts transfers and mortgage deeds
  • Review and draft property search reports
  • Handling sales enquiries with guidance from your case handler
  • Assisting in the preparation of completion statements and managing financial transactions
  • Reviewing requesting and submitting source of funds and source of wealth requests via the compliance team
  • Assist clients via telephone and email and work with the introducer to ensure the client receives an exceptional service





Requirements

You will be able to excel at the above by possessing:

  • Previously worked as a Conveyancing Assistant Legal Executive or in a similar role
  • Have at least 3 year experience in Conveyancing
  • Have a deep understanding of conveyancing processes and procedures.
  • Strong communication organisational and other soft skills
  • Work well in a fast paced environment
  • Be able to multitask
  • Want to progress or qualify as a fee earner
