The Company is seeking to hire a highly skilled and analytical inventory analyst who will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing inventory levels identifying trends and making recommendations to optimize inventory management.
Job Objective:
1. Provide correct results of physical inventories of stores and the DC.
2. Identify administrative errors that lead to wrong inventory results.
To stay ahead of the competition it is required to apply the principle of economy to the maximum extent.
Key Responsibilities:
Agree on suitable days for physical inventories in the stores together with the Sales Manager and for the DC with the Logistic Manager.
Ensure that correct counting lists are available which include all items to be counted.
Provide counting lists to the Area Manager and Logistic Manager which allow them to check the counting.
Help clarify any issues that occur during the counting.
Ensure that all administrative documents are available for the inventory taking for instance complete writeoff documentation delivery notes credit notes and such.
He reports any serious issues to the Accounting Manager that are found during the inventory counting.
He ensures that any necessary adjustments in inventories are made correctly and with proper documentation.
He prepares the inventory reports which document the result of each inventory.
Minimum B.Sc. in Supply Chain Management business administration marketing or a related field.
3 years work experience in inventory management or in a retail chain setting
Excellent attention to detail maths and multitasking skills.
Strong analytical time management and problemsolving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other inventory management software
Experience with databases and spreadsheets.
