Job Description

  • Source screen and interview qualified candidates for open positions.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS) and maintain accurate records.
  • Conduct reference checks and coordinate background screening.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling job offers to successful candidates.
  • Stay uptodate on current labor market trends and best practices in recruitment.
  • Assist with employee onboarding and orientation.
  • Provide support with employee relations and conflict resolution.
  • Manage employee leaves and benefits administration
  • Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations.
  • Partner with other departments on HRrelated initiatives.



  • Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management Industrial Relations or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Valid HR certification from a recognized Canadian board (e.g. Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR)).
  • Minimum 24 years of experience in recruitment and/or HR generalist duties.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian employment law and regulations.
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and applicant tracking systems (ATS) preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment law Proven experience in recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, manage deadlines, and work independently Proficiency in HR software and tools (e.g., Applicant Tracking Systems, payroll systems)
