Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS) and maintain accurate records.
Conduct reference checks and coordinate background screening.
Prepare and deliver compelling job offers to successful candidates.
Stay uptodate on current labor market trends and best practices in recruitment.
Assist with employee onboarding and orientation.
Provide support with employee relations and conflict resolution.
Manage employee leaves and benefits administration
Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations.
Partner with other departments on HRrelated initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management Industrial Relations or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Valid HR certification from a recognized Canadian board (e.g. Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR)).
Minimum 24 years of experience in recruitment and/or HR generalist duties.
Strong understanding of Canadian employment law and regulations.
Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
Proficient in MS Office Suite and applicant tracking systems (ATS) preferred.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
