Senior Frontend Developer

What we are looking for

We are looking for an experienced senior frontend developer who is proficient with JavaScript and React.js to work on our products. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following wellknown React.js workflows. You will collaborate with frontend QA and DevOps engineers and you will report directly to the Engineering Manager.

What does the job involve

• Developing new userfacing features using React.js
• Building reusable components and frontend libraries for future use
• Translating designs and wireframes into highquality code
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of webcapable devices and browsers
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
• Collaborating with the backend developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional cohesive code to enhance the user experience.

Qualifications

• BSC degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related subject.
• 5 years as a frontend developer and 3 years in frontend engineering with React js.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• High proficiency in JavaScript including DOM manipulation and JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and offline storage
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms such as JSON Web Token
• Ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical requirements
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git
• Clear and accurate written and verbal communication. Critical thinking and problemsolving skills. Good timemanagement skills
