Job Description
Job Title: General Manager
Location: Dar es Salaam
About the Role: Our client is looking for a General Manager to oversee operations in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will handle various responsibilities essential to the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure preparation of monthly accounts by the 10th of the following month with assistance from the accountant.
- Market the companys products in Tanzania Malawi and Zambia.
- Ensure compliance with Tanzanias tax and statutory obligations.
- Manage all staff members.
- Explore and establish strategies to expand the companys market share.
- Gain a thorough understanding of the companys products and services.
- Enhance and strengthen financial controls.
- Implement effective cash flow management.
- Oversee daytoday revenue and expenditure management.
- Prepare and monitor the budget.
- Provide periodic financial reports.
Requirements
- Willingness to relocate to Dar es Salaam.
- Has worked in a plant/industry and has rubber experience.
- Our client will facilitate work permits and necessary paperwork for working in Tanzania.
- Mechanical knowledge is an added advantage.
