Job Description

Filinvest Hotel: Quest Hotel Tagaytay City

Position Summary

Oversee all F&B operations to ensure operations run smoothly. They train and supervise F&B staff ensure compliance with food health and safety and regulations and resolve customer complaints.

  1. Provides valueadded service to customers by doing whatever reasonable and possible to meet or exceed customer expectations.
  2. Communicates effectively with customers coworkers and superiors.
  3. Demonstrate teamwork by cooperating and assisting coworkers as needed.
  4. Handles difficult situations effectively.

Leadership

Meets and exceeds expectations of employees by utilizing leadership skills and motivation techniques to maximize employee productivity and satisfaction of direct reports.

Customer Satisfaction

  1. Ensures Prompt efficient and courteous service.
  2. Monitors and analyzes levels of customer satisfaction.
  3. Exceeds customer satisfaction and maximizes return customers.

Human Resources

  1. Sets and maintain service standards.
  2. Leads the team.
  3. Motivates employees.
  4. Coaches counsels and disciplines employees.
  5. Determines priorities sets goals and followup.
  6. Monitors and controls shift rosters.
  7. Participates in selection of staff.
  8. Conducts performance appraisals.
  9. Identifies and analyzes problems and develops solutions.
  10. Ensures that staff provides quality service by overseeing the staffing training and daytoday activities of restaurants staff.

Training

  1. Orientation and induction of new employees.
  2. Annual training plan.
  3. Conducts technical job knowledge training.
  4. Analyzes training needs.

Communication

  1. Attends department meetings.
  2. Conducts daily briefing.
  3. Provides feedback to management.

Profitability

  1. Monitors and controls productivity.
  2. Practices cost controlling.
  3. Prepares accurate monthly forecasts of covers revenue expenses and GOP.
  4. Prepares budget for operating equipment CAPEX.
  5. Achieves revenue and profit goals by developing and implementing strategies to increase revenue and control costs.

Health Safety & Hygiene

  1. Ensures safe working process.
  2. Monitors cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  3. Monitors grooming and appearance standards of employees.

Sales & Marketing

  1. Ensures effective up selling.
  2. Optimizes opportunities for marketing the outlet.
  3. Controls quality of merchandising display.

Stock Control

  1. Ensures adequate supplies.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management.
  • At least one (1) year in a supervisory position is preferred.
  • At least two (2) years in restaurant operations.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills abilities.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Amenable to work in Tagaytay City.
