Job Description

Headsup Corporation is an HR Consulting firm that helps organizations solve all their people related problems. We have 3 major verticals: Technology and Design Advisory People Advisory Services and Talent Search Search Advisory. Technology and Design forms a major part of our company and to grow that part more we are looking for a BD Manager who is well versed in generating and managing business growth in the vertical specifically from a Public Sector focus. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic business development initiatives to secure new government and public sector contracts. This role requires a strong track record of delivering results and managing projects from initial proposal to successful execution.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to target government and public sector opportunities.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and understand their specific needs and challenges.
  • Build strong relationships with key decisionmakers within government ministries and public sector agencies.
  • Lead the development of compelling proposals and tenders that effectively address client requirements and demonstrate the value proposition of Headsups services.
  • Manage the tendering process ensuring all submissions adhere to government regulations and deadlines.
  • Negotiate contracts and secure new business engagements
  • Oversee project execution ensuring successful delivery within budget and timeline constraints.
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of contacts within the government and public sector.
  • Stay uptodate on government policies procurement procedures and relevant industry trends

Requirements
  • 67 years of proven experience in business development with a strong focus on IT projects for the government and public sector.
  • Demonstrated success in securing and executing contracts through the tendering process.
  • Extensive knowledge of government procurement procedures and regulations.
  • Established and demonstrably strong relationships with key decisionmakers within government ministries and public sector agencies.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in developing and delivering impactful presentations.
