We have 3 major verticals: Technology and Design Advisory People Advisory Services and Talent Search Search Advisory. Technology and Design forms a major part of our company and to grow that part more we are looking for a BD Manager who is well versed in generating and managing business growth in the vertical specifically from a Public Sector focus. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic business development initiatives to secure new government and public sector contracts. This role requires a strong track record of delivering results and managing projects from initial proposal to successful execution.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to target government and public sector opportunities.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and understand their specific needs and challenges.
- Build strong relationships with key decisionmakers within government ministries and public sector agencies.
- Lead the development of compelling proposals and tenders that effectively address client requirements and demonstrate the value proposition of Headsups services.
- Manage the tendering process ensuring all submissions adhere to government regulations and deadlines.
- Negotiate contracts and secure new business engagements
- Oversee project execution ensuring successful delivery within budget and timeline constraints.
- Develop and maintain a strong network of contacts within the government and public sector.
- Stay uptodate on government policies procurement procedures and relevant industry trends
Requirements
- 67 years of proven experience in business development with a strong focus on IT projects for the government and public sector.
- Demonstrated success in securing and executing contracts through the tendering process.
- Extensive knowledge of government procurement procedures and regulations.
- Established and demonstrably strong relationships with key decisionmakers within government ministries and public sector agencies.
- Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in developing and delivering impactful presentations.
