Salary Range: up to 2500 USD

Work Schedule: MondayFriday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST

Client Overview:

Sagan represents a company passionate about setting the industry standard for B2B tech marketing. For the past 15 years this marketing agency has focused on partnerships with more B2B tech clients than any other marketing agency in the world creating a large volume of video content to support marketing efforts including video podcasts and video series.

Position Overview:

The Video Editor will support the growing team by editing and producing highquality video content. This role involves working with raw video footage to create polished final products incorporating elements such as intros outros animations and voiceovers. The editor will manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure all videos meet client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Video Editing:
   • Proficiently edit short and longform videos using tools like Adobe Suite and Descript.
   • String together various video elements into a cohesive whole including intros raw video animations and outros.
   • Create short clips from longer segments highlighting key parts for social media.
2. Audio Editing:
   • Skills in audio editing mixing and sound design.
3. Template Development:
   • Develop video element templates for new shows based on artistic direction from the Creative Director.
4. Project Management:
   • Manage multiple projects simultaneously across different clients.
   • Work in a collaborative team environment managing work across remote project management tools like ClickUp and Slack.
5. Continuous Improvement:
   • Continuously refine and improve editing skills through selfdirected learning and professional development.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of professional video editing experience.
• Strong proficiency in English.
• Proficiency in using Adobe Suite (Premiere Audition etc.) and Descript.
• A strong portfolio showcasing past work.

• Experience with ClickUp and Slack.
• Previous work experience in an agency.
