We are looking for a Java Developer with POS and Payment Systems Expertise who specializes in designing developing and maintaining systems and software that facilitate payment transactions in retail hospitality and other customerfacing environments. Their work ensures that customers can complete transactions smoothly and securely whether using credit/debit cards mobile payments or other electronic payment methods.

Responsibilities:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java.
• Experience with PCIDSS compliance and other relevant security standards.
• Experience with POS hardware and peripherals (e.g. card readers receipt printers).
• Knowledge of database management systems (e.g. SQL Oracle).
• Familiarity with payment processing protocols and standards.
• Understanding of encryption methods and data protection.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
• Clear communication skills for technical support and collaboration with team members.
• Ability to document processes and create user guides for system operation.
• Design develop and maintain POS payment systems and software.
• Ensure the smooth and secure completion of payment transactions.
• Integrate and configure POS hardware and peripherals such as card readers and receipt printers.
• Implement and maintain encryption methods and data protection measures.
• Ensure compliance with PCIDSS and other relevant security standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to POS systems.
• Provide technical support and collaborate with team members to resolve issues.
• Document processes and create user guides for system operation.
• Stay uptodate with the latest payment processing protocols and standards.
• Collaborate with other engineers developers and stakeholders to improve and enhance POS systems.
