Job Description

MENA and India Team: The team is based in Dubai with some outsourced functions in India and supports management decision making and provides financial and management accounting services to all the offices in the region. The team is led by the Finance Director, who is based in Dubai. APCO Worldwide uses Maconomy for its accounting system and is a major user of Microsoft business products.
The Role: Business and Finance Support are responsible for assisting the Business Management team as well as the client facing teams, with all aspects of client administration and data entry including, set-up of master data in the ERP system, data entry, purchase orders, vendor liaison. Additional duties will include assisting with invoicing and reconciliations. The role will be supporting with the following APCO entities: Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Jordan, and India (offices in Delhi and Mumbai).
Role Responsibilities:
- Creation of new business opportunities in the ERP
- Management of the master data management tool
- Coordination and facilitation of project related purchase orders
- Following up for approvals in the respective system
- Raising client invoices in the ERP with guidance from the deputy business manager
- Process the distribution of all clients billing as required.
- Send statements of account to clients as required
- Send payment receipts to clients as required
- Reconciling actual expenditure versus planned expenditure on projects

Role Requirements:
- Minimum education requirement – Degree in a Business-related discipline from a recognized university
- Exposure to working in professional services in preferred but not essential
- Fluent in English and Business Arabic
- Must already be based in Amman
- Experience using an ERP a distinct advantage
- Organized and professional
- Reliable and timely
- Friendly and customer focussed
- Ambitious and keen to learn
- Employees are required to work on a shift basis
