Like other home care providerswe offer help around the home personal care as well as transportationcompanionship and plenty besides! But thats where the similarities with otherproviders ends. The best way for you to find out how is to apply and have achat. But to give you an idea of what were about here are a few of ourfavourite points of difference:

• Pay for all your hours Many of our Wellbeing Support Workers are with us because they love what they do but we dont use that as an excuse to cut costs. And unlike other providers we pay for all of the hours youre working not just the hours you spend in someones home
• No experience necessary Previous care experience isnt required full training will be provided by experienced carers. We hire people based on values personality and attitude rather than experience
• Self managed teams Our closeknit care teams are fully selfmanaged meaning you get to make your own decisions about the people you support but have the backing of peers
• Qualifications support Well help you train towards your NVQ if youd like to learn and grow your skills

Requirements of the role

• Car driver with access to vehicle
• No care experience is required full training is provided
• Compassion respect and a desire to support people in your community
• Were looking for Full Time Part Time and Flexi workers currently
• We split shifts up into 5 hour blocks (generally 7.30/8am1pm and/or 4pm9pm) it means that you can find a healthy worklife balance. You must be available to work on alternate weekends as well as weekdays!

What We Offer

• Real Living Wage employer we pay you for Full Shifts (not just contact time) 14 p/hr for time spent supporting people in their homes and 12 p/hr for the rest of your time those hours between visits when youre travelling training running rotas and connecting with your team.
• 45p per mile mileage
• Weekly Paid Team Meeting and buddy time
• Fulltime (36.5 hours) parttime (11.531.5 hours) or flexi (zero hours) roles available
• 30 days annual leave inclusive of public holidays (for Full Time workers prorata for Part Time) your Birthday off work

What kind of things would I bedoing

Light cleaning laundryshopping meal preparation medication personal care (supporting someone toget dressed toileted washing and bathing) attending medical appointmentsday centres appointments and social activities.

Would I need to do personalcare

Do I need my own car

Yes you will require your ownor access to a car that is MOTd and Insured for business use.

How much driving will I berequired to do

That will depend on the team youjoin but as a rule we try to plan our rotas so that there isnt more than a30 minutes drive between each of the people we support. We pay for your timeand mileage whilst driving between visits.

What is the recruitment process

Our recruitment process involvesa short conversation with either our Recruitment Lead or one of our regionalDevelopment Coaches followed by an online video workshop with a DevelopmentCoaches. You will need to complete a short 5 minute values survey onlineideally before the workshop. The final stage would be a shadow shift shadowingone of our current Wellbeing Support Workers so you have a chance to see ifthe actual role is a good fit for you.
