Job Description

Our client is a leading FMCG multinational looking to hire their Global Internal Audit Lead to be based in Dubai.
We are seeking an experienced Auditor to join the leadership team and set up the Global Internal Audit function. The role requires the incumbent to set up the internal audit processes from scratch and build a high performing lean team of internal auditors. The incumbent will be required to manage internal audit for our clients 15 entities globally.
The role would be based in Dubai and would require extensive travel to our locations of operations across countries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management:
  • Develop and implement an annual audit plan based on risk assessments.
  • Manage and oversee the daytoday operations of the internal audit department.
  • Recruit train and mentor audit staff fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Report audit findings and recommendations to the senior management.
  • Audit Planning and Execution:
  • Design and implement audit programs to evaluate financial and operational controls.
  • Ensure audits are conducted across all global entities in accordance with professional standards and within timeframes.
  • Perform risk assessments to identify areas of potential risk and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide guidance and advice to management on risk management practices.
  • Identify emerging risks and ensure they are adequately addressed in the audit plan.
  • Assess the effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Identify weaknesses and recommend improvements to enhance internal control systems.
  • Compliance and Governance:
  • Ensure the organization complies with relevant laws regulations and internal policies.
  • Support the development and implementation of internal control frameworks.
  • Promote a strong ethical culture within the organization.



Must Have
Chartered Accountant with 12 years of audit experience within a large corporate environment.
Must have FMCG experience.
Exposure to audit of entities in multiple countries.
Demonstrated experience in leading multicultural cross border internal audit teams.
Strong understanding of auditing standards and procedures.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities.
