Responsibilities
CUSTOMER SERVICE AND COORDINATION:
- Be available for clients to act as their partner and advisor
- Adhere to defined TAT and operational efficiency levels
- Send documents for processing to Middle/Back office & ensure effective and efficient coordination with teams
- Resolve customer complaints and queries.
- Facilitator between processing Middle/Back office Client and Relationship Manager.
OPERATIONAL PROCESSING:
- Processing of Trade and Cash related documents
- Providing assistant to clients for closure of EDPMS/IDPMS outstanding items
- Handling processing of PreShipment Finance (PCFC) & Post Shipment Finance (PSFC).
- Handling Export Dispatch/ Non Dispatch Documents & export regularization
- Handling Import Outward remittances (A1 and A2 payments)
- Handling and providing end to end Solution for issuance Import Letter of Credit (LC).
- Guiding and helping clients to complete the Merchant Trade Transactions within the prescribe timeline of RBI.
- Handling issuance and printing of Bank Guarantee which include Counter Bank Guarantee Cross Border & domestics Bank Guarantees.
- Handling transaction related to Receivable Finance (RF) & Domestics Purchase/Sale Bill Discounting.
- Handling Writeoff requests Reductions of Export Bills regularization of export documents against Advance payment collection documents Issuance of GR Waiver
- Handling of Loans and Deposit transaction.
- Ensure appropriate escalation to management and/or permanent control (or compliance as appropriate) upon identification of any issue.
- Clean audit report Concurrent audit IG audit RBI Flying squad et al and close all the recommendations before the due date. The audit recommendations to be implemented within one month to ensure that no recurrence is observed.
- Reconcilable accounts Nostro suspense sundry transit OMR et al are reconciled within a week. Rigorous follow up and clearance of the pending reconciliation items if more than a week
- Adherence to SOPs
- Management / exceptional transaction; Elimination of multiple throwbacks
- Daily Reconciliation register to be updated on daily basis for reconciliation of trade documents.
- Vigilance checks to be performed effectively without error as per given guideline
- Perform all cash & clearing related activities RTGS / NEFT / DD Stock keeping of stationary.
- Interact with Commercial teams BO/Middle office CCC CSD 3C Risk Audit CLM Legal Compliance
- Any other activities assigned from time to time.
- Continuously monitor and supervise all TF/Exchange activities to ensure that they are within internal and external guidelines.
- Provide external regulatory authorities reports/documents/records as required.
- Maintain interaction with statutory authorities for suitable clarifications/explanations for ensuring smooth transaction processing wherever applicable.
- Bring Direct contribution to Banks operational permanent control framework
- Minimize operational failure including but not exclusively the risk of fraud by helping to devise and by implementing sufficient regular controls
- Ensure appropriate escalation to management and/or permanent control (or compliance as appropriate) as soon as an issue is identified.
- Anti Money Laundering / Financial Sanctions AML/FS) related duties: Operations are an integral part of the control framework including for AML/FS topics. In that respect in performing your role you are expected to ensure adherence to AML/FS related Group Policies and of associated operational controls and to promptly escalate any resulting hit for analysis and decision
- Ensure controls at cash counter and bait money
Education Level: Bachelor Degree or equivalent (3 years)
Experience Level: At least 3 years
