HOD - Renewable Energy

• Capable of motivating and leading multidisciplinary teams that involves construction renewable energy design and maintenance.
  
• Develop and implement longterm policies and strategies for renewable energy management and development that includes expansion / upgrade / renovation projects to support future business development.
  
• Work closely with the design and engineering teams to optimize project design feasibility and constructability by being technically competent to lead and manage construction for assigned green energy projects (solar micro hydro hydrogen BESS & H2 etc.).
  
• Maintain good networking with TNB local authorities government agencies EPCC consultants and stakeholders.
  
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safety requirements by establishing and managing project and operational budgets resources and timelines.
  
• Oversee daily power plant operations including ensuring that preventive maintenance is performed properly and timely minimising impact on plant operations
  
• Promoting sustainable practices and uninterrupted operation of renewable energy power plants by fostering innovation in engineering maintenance.
  
• Uptodate knowledge on new and upcoming of government policies and projects potential.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor s Degree in Engineering or any related field.
  
• Minimum 10 years of working experience with a proven record of success in project development execution and business development in renewable energy sector.
  
• Good knowledge of solar photovoltaic technology and other renewable energy solutions such as micro hydro hydrogen BESS & H2 etc.
  
• Expertise in engineering concepts infrastructure design and project management.
  
• Strong management and leadership skills by providing strategic direction and overseeing multidisciplinary teams.
  
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with local community and stakeholders.
  
• Demonstrates strong business acumen focusing on generating growth.
  
• Demonstrates adaptability and commitment to keep updated with renewable energy trends and technology in Malaysia.
  
• Adhere to Laws and policies.
