Job Description

1. Production Planning:
  • Understand manufacturing process develop and maintain production schedules based on sales forecasts inventory levels production capacity and delivery status. Manage production from raw materials to finished goods for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with various departments including production warehouse logistics procurement key account manager to align planning efforts with customers demand to ensure smooth production operations and material flow.
  • Collaborate with production HOD/ Supervisor to schedule production orders and allocate resources effectively.
  • Communicate effectively with key account team and customers regarding forecasts orders and delivery schedules.
  • Update and maintain the IFS ERP system by entering customer forecasts and orders creating shop orders tracking production progress and generating shipping documents and invoices.
  • Develop and maintain shipment plans for customer orders ensuring alignment with production schedules and delivery commitments.
  • Perform weekly monthly and annual KPI statistics and analysis to measure and improve performance.
  • Analyze the results of production plan implementations to enhance their rationality and accuracy.
  • Manage the timing of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) ensuring they are implemented and tracked effectively.

2. Any other adhoc tasks assigned by the management.

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess a diploma or bachelor s degree in supply chain management business administration or a related field.
  • Preferably 3 years or above experience in a planning role.
  • Previous experience in a planning or similar role within the electronics manufacturing services (EMS) industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong crossfunctional communication skills both internally with departments and externally with customers.
  • Attentive to detail and focus on accuracy.
  • Strong logical reasoning skills and sensitivity to data and metrics.
  • Basic understanding of production processes.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fastpaced environment.
