- Provide legal advice and support to various departments within the organization on a wide range of legal issues.
- Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
- Draft review and negotiate contracts agreements and other legal documents to safeguard the companys interests.
- Ensure all contracts comply with legal requirements and internal policies.
- Identify potential legal risks and provide proactive solutions to mitigate these risks.
- Develop and maintain a risk management framework to ensure the company s operations are legally sound.
- Monitor and keep proper records of governing developments in the organization and provide proper feed back to management.
- Support the company s corporate governance framework ensuring all board and committee meetings are effectively managed and documented.
- Assist in the preparation and review of board materials and resolutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Law LLM is desirable but not mandatory
- At least 4 years experience practicing corporate law
- Excellent interpersonal skills smart and goal driven
- Excellent communication skills (writing editing and speaking); detail orientation; strong work ethic; and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic fastpaced work environment.
- Exceptional organizational and logistical skills
- Excellent analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative)
