Overview:
The IBDP Physics Teacher with Extended Essay plays a critical role in delivering quality education and shaping the learning experience for students. This position is essential in providing specialized instruction in Physics guiding students through the rigorous IBDP curriculum and fostering critical thinking and research skills through the Extended Essay component.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging comprehensive lessons in Physics following the IBDP curriculum guidelines
- Facilitate student learning and understanding of complex Physics concepts through effective teaching methodologies
- Guide and support students in the development and execution of their Extended Essay research projects
- Design assessments that accurately measure student understanding and progress
- Provide constructive feedback to students on their academic performance and Extended Essay progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to align instructional strategies and maximize student learning outcomes
- Participate in professional development activities to stay abreast of best practices in teaching Physics and the IBDP program

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Physics or related field
- Teaching certification or licensure in relevant jurisdiction
- Proven experience teaching Physics at the IBDP level
- Demonstrated expertise in guiding students through the Extended Essay process
- Indepth understanding of the IBDP Physics curriculum and assessment requirements
