Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging comprehensive lessons in Physics following the IBDP curriculum guidelines
• Facilitate student learning and understanding of complex Physics concepts through effective teaching methodologies
• Guide and support students in the development and execution of their Extended Essay research projects
• Design assessments that accurately measure student understanding and progress
• Provide constructive feedback to students on their academic performance and Extended Essay progress
• Collaborate with colleagues to align instructional strategies and maximize student learning outcomes
• Participate in professional development activities to stay abreast of best practices in teaching Physics and the IBDP program
• Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learning needs
• Communicate proactively with students parents and school administration regarding academic progress and concerns
• Contribute to the overall academic and cocurricular life of the school through extracurricular engagement

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Physics or related field
• Teaching certification or licensure in relevant jurisdiction
• Proven experience teaching Physics at the IBDP level
• Demonstrated expertise in guiding students through the Extended Essay process
• Indepth understanding of the IBDP Physics curriculum and assessment requirements
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for education and fostering a love of learning in students
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic educational environment
